| July 2th | Lea erklimmt den Berg weiter, heute Abend wird sogar
versucht eines der 3 Herzmedikamente abzusetzen. Hoffentlich gelingt es. Probleme mit der
Verdauung werden mit fettfreier Milch behandelt. Sie ist jetzt viel wach. Lea is still climbing up the mountain. This evening they try to stop one of three heartmedicine. We hope it works. Problems with the digestion should be solved with fattfree milk.She is a lot awake now. |
| July 3th | Es hat geklappt, auch die anderen Herzmedikamente konnten weiter reduziert
werden. Auch ein Sekretschlauch wurde enfernt und man spricht davon die Beatmung in ein
paar Tagen zu stoppen. Aber es kann immer wieder R?kf?le geben. It worket out, also the other heartmedicines could be reducet. Also one secrteonhose could be removed and they talk about to stopp the artificial respiration in about three or four days. But she always can have a relapse. |
| July 4th | Die Beatmung wurde heute gestoppt. Sie atmet im Moment gut und man ist zuversichtlich, dass es klappt und auch weiterhin Medikamente reduziert werden oder sogar, wie heute das Schlafmittel, gestoppt werden k?nen.Leider ist eine Entz?dung am Darm aufgetreten darum muss die normale Nahrung f? 10 Tage gestoppt und Antibiotika verabreicht werden. They stoped the artificial respiration today. She is breathing good at the moment and they hope it will work out and it is possible to reduce or like today the sleepingmedicine, stop some medicine. But today they also find out that she has an infection in the intestine and they stop the normal food and have to give antibiotic for the next 10 days. |
| July 7th | Nach einer Krise gestern wo man kurz davor war sie wieder zu relaxieren
und beatmen hat sie sich heute wieder erholt, wir sind sehr froh. Mark durfte sie heute
Abend sogar auf den Arm nehmen. Yesterday she had an other crisis they war just to put her back to sleep and hang her up on the artificial respiration again, but she recovered in the last minute. We are very happy. Today Mark was able to hold her in his arms. |
| July 10th | Lea macht es gut. Es werden t?lich weniger Schl?che und
?erwachungsdr?te ben?igt. Die Darmentz?dung scheint auch abzuklingen (sie hat
Hunger) das einzige gr?sere Problem ist die Sekretmenge die aus Ihrem Brustkorb
austritt. Man gibt ihr aber noch 2 Wochen Zeit bevor man ?er eine Operation entscheidet.
Gewicht: 2440 Gramm. Lea does a good job. Everyday they able to reduce tubes and cables. The infection in the intestine is reduced. (she is very hungry). The only problem there is left, is the quantity of the secretion coming still out of her chest. They give her 2 weeks until they decide if there is a operation necessary. Weight 5.5 pounds . |
| July 12th | Nachdem gestern der Sekretschlauch nachdem er nicht mehr f?derte
herausgezogen werden musste, wurde heute Lea narkotisiert und ein neuer gelegt. Sie hat es
gut ?erstanden und ist wieder munter. After yesterday the secretiontube failed it had to be replacet today. It worket out well and Lea is awake again. |
| July 14th | Lea ist weiter stabil. Die fettfreie Milch die sie wieder erh?t
vertr?t sie gut. Wir erhielten die Nachricht, dass eine Operation betreffent dem
Sekretfluss unumg?glich ist. Der Termin steht noch nicht aber er wird bald sein. Lea is stabil. She has no problem with the fatfree milk she get's again. We know now, that a operation about her secretionproblem is necessary. We don't know the scedule yet. But it will be soon. |
| July 18th | Am 21. Juli wird Lea operiert. Man wird ihr die beiden Brustfelle
zusammenkleben damit die Lymphfl?sigkeit wieder ihren richtigen Weg geht. Die Operation
selber ist nicht schwierig aber Lea's Zustand birgt Gefahren. On July 21th Lea is going to be operatet. They will stick the two pleuras together so the lymphliquide goes the right way again. The operation is not very hard but lea's situation doesn't help mutch. |
| July 21th | Der Chirurg w?lte eine schonende Metode was dem Heilungsprozess
sicher hilft. Es kann aber erst in 2-3 Tagen definitiv kontrolliert werden ob sie
erfolgreich war. Lea geht es gut und sie war kurz nach der Operation wieder wach.
Vielleicht kann man morgen die Beatmung wieder stoppen. The surgeon used a careful methode, it helps a lot for the healing process. They can't say until 2 or 3 day's if it was 100% successful. Lea was right after the operation awake again. Maybe they stop the artificial respiration already tomorrow . |
| July 22th | Die Beatmung wurde gestoppt, es kommt auch nur noch 10% des Sekretes aus
der Wunde, Es wird morgen versucht den Schlauch ab zu klemmen. Ihr allgemeiner Zustand ist
gut. Eine Zeichnung des Herzens ist aufgeschaltet. The artificial respiration is stoped. Only 10% of the secretion is coming out of the wound. Tomorow they try to pinch off the tube. Her general state of healt is good.Have a look at the heartdrawing. |
| July 23th | Juhui der Schlauch ist weg. Lea trink ein Teil ihrer
Nahrung selber und es geht ihr gut. Wir hoffen, dass es keine negative ?erraschungen
mehr gibt. Wir freuen uns sehr ?er die Fortschritte. Danke an das IP Personal und euch
alle die uns unterst?zen. Hurray the tube is gone. Lea is drinking a part of her milk on her own and she is in stable condition. We hope there is no bad surprise again. We are very happy about her progress. Thank you to all the staff of the intensive-unit station and to you all who help us |
| July 25th | Lea geht es weiterhin gut, heute konnte die Sauerstoffunterst?zung
abgeschaltet werden. Ihre Stimme kommt langsam zur?k, was selbst Lea in staunen
versetzt. Lea is still in good condition. Today they ware able to turn of the oxygen support. Her voice comes back what even Lea amazes. |
| July 27th | Seit heute hat Lea ein normales Kinderbett auch ihr Aussehen verbessert
sich t?lich, so konnte heute der letzte Infusionskatheter gezogen werden. Sie hat nur
noch eine kleine Infusion am Kopf um das Fett welches sie durch die Milch nicht bekommt zu
ersetzten. Medikamente werden ihr durch den Schoppen oder die Magensonde (Nase)
verabreicht. Since today Lea has a normal Childbed she also looks better every day. Today they removed her last infusioncatheter she now has only a head infusion to replace the fat she dosen't get tru the milk. She get's the medicine trouth the bottle or trouth the stomachprobe (nose). |
| July 30th | Gestern ist Lea von der Intensiv auf die
Neugeborenenabteilung verlegt worden. Wir freuen uns riesig und hoffen, dass Lea weiter an
Gewicht zulegt und vermehrt selber trinkt. Danke nochmals an die Belegschaft der Intensiv
B f? die super Betreuung von Lea und uns. Yesterday Lea changed from the intensive-unit station to the newborn-station. We are very happy and hope, she gets more weight and drinks more of the bottle by her self. Thank you again to the intensiv-unit staff for taking so good care of Lea and us. |
