| October 6th | Heute ist Lea 4 Monate alt. Zur Feier des Tages haben wir Lea's Magensonde
nicht mehr ersetzt. Sie hat alle Schoppen ausgetrunken. Wir hoffen, dass es so
weitergeht und sie weiter an Gewicht zunimmt. Today Lea turns 4 month. Today we didn't replace the feedingtube anymore and she was drinking all the boddles empty. We hope she get's more weight everyday. |
| October 13th | Heute waren wir beim Kardiologen Dr. H?merli, wir waren sehr nerv?,
aber es stellte sich bald heraus, dass wir es nicht sein mussten. Der Aortabogen sieht
sehr gut aus und die Verengung vor der Herzklappe hat sich nicht negativ ver?dert. Das
Herzmedikament kann um 1/3 reduziert werden, was vor allem Susanne freut, da sie
nicht mehr fr? morgens aufstehen muss. Auch die Schoppen trinkt Lea immer leer daher
wiegt sie bereits 3.860 Kg mit ihren 54.5 cm. Today we went to the cardiologist. we were very nervous, but after a view minutes we know, every thing is ok. The Aortobow looks very good and the narrowing under the cardiac valve didn't chance to the worsed. The heartmedicine can be reducet by 1/3. That makes Susan happy, because she dosn't have to get up in the night anymore. Lea is drinking the bottle empty now and she weigt's 8.5 lb. and her size is 22 inches. |
| October 31th | Lea hatte heute Ihren grossen Tag. Zusammen mit Verwandten und Freunden
aus nah und fern feierten wir ihre Taufe. Es freute uns auch, dass zwei Schwestern vom
Kispi der Einladung folgten. Alle freuten sich ?er ihren Zustand. Herzlichen Dank f?
die h?schen Geschenke. Lea wiegt 4.4 kg. und babbelt immer mehr vor sich hin. Lea's big day. Together with relatives and friends from near and far (Ron Chanda from NJ.) we celebreatet her christening. It was also nice to see two nurses from the hospital. Everyone was happy to see her progress. Thank you for all the presents. Lea weigt's 9.68 lb.and she starts to babble. |
| November 22th | Lea sieht ihren ersten Schnee, Der Augenarzt best?igt, dass ihre Augen
in Ordnung sind. Auch die Physiotherapeutin ist mit ihrer Entwicklung zufrieden. Am 1.
Dezember sind wir wieder beim Kardiologen zur Untersuchung. Lea sees her first snow. The Eyedoctor told us that her eyes are in good condition. The physiotherapist is also very happy with her progress. December 1th we gone see the cardiologist again. |
| December 1th | Heute waren wir beim Kardilogen. Er findet Lea's Zustand sehr gut. Ende
Monat wird auch die Blutverd?nung gestoppt und Lea darf auch langsam feste Nahrung zu
sich nehmen. Leider oder zum Gl?k hat sich das Gewebe vor dem Aortaausgang nicht
ver?dert. Dies bedeutet, dass das Blut mit zu hohem Druck auf die Herzklappe trifft (wie
beim Gartenschlauch) und diese sich ausdehnt, was dazu f?rt das die Herzklappe undicht
wird. Wenn dieses Gewebe nicht zur?kgeht oder schlimmer gr?ser wird, ist eine
Operation am offenen Herz unumg?glich. Aber wir hoffen, Da es nicht's akutes ist, wird
der n?hste Untersuch im M?z sein. Sie wiegt 5.1 Kg und misst 58 cm sie holt langsam
auf. Today we went to the cardiologist again. He thinks, that Lea looks very good. End of this month we can stop the last medicine which makes the blood thin and she can start to eat normal food. Unfotunately the tissue on the aortaentrance thit' nt get smaler so that the blood flows to strong to the cardiac valve and cost's damage there. If it dos'nt chance a other operation is nessesary, bacause the cardiac valve starts to leak. We hope it will chance to the next checkup in march. Lea weight's 10.21lb |
| December 30 th | Seit heute braucht Lea keine Medikamente mehr. Das freut uns sehr, denn
der 2mal w?hentlich stattfindende Gang zum Spital entf?lt nun. Langsam kehrt
Normalit? in unser Leben ein. Wir hoffen, dass wir im neuen Jahr viel positives von Lea
berichten k?nen und w?schen einen guten Rutsch und danken nochmals allen welche uns in
diesem schweren Jahr beigestanden sind.. Since today Lea does'nt need any medicine anymore. This means, we don't have to go to the hospital two times a week anymore. Life goes back to normal. We hope we can write only positive things about Lea next year and wish you a happy new year and thanks again to all who supported us in this hard year. |
